MassMirror is creating the first Application Programming Interface to allow any developer to tie into our free upload service. This means developers will be able to mirror any file from a programming level using your server to transfer files to massmirror at lightning fast speeds.

• The concept behind MM API is something that has been missing from the world wide web. Only a select few sites have managed to incorporate mirror management into their software. We think it is about time someone stepped up and provided a free mirroring solution for individuals, professionals, businesses, and even for educational reasons.
• Creating sites that allow huge file downloads has always been a problem. This is because bandwidth (the data sent over your servers internet connection) costs money per usage. Wouldn't it be nice if you could lessen the burden off of your server, but still provide a download link that visitors can use? How about backing up important non-sensitive data? What if you just want to tie this into your gallery script for backing up pictures? What if you already own a site that gets a huge amount of file downloads per day but you still want file mirroring? Well guess what? All of these are possible with MM API and best of all it will be provided for free to everyone.
